MAA Fight: Jayasudha Takes On RP

The election of next president of Movie Artists Association is going to be as interesting as it could be. All these days it is publicised that senior hero and character artist Rajendra Prasad(RP) will replace the outgoing president Murali Mohan. But the election is not going to be unanimous it appears as there is a friction uncalled for. 

Earlier 'Natakiriti' Rajendra Prasad expressed his desire to become MAA President and serve the Telugu Film Industry in return for the care it has showered on him for years. His candidature is thought to be unanimous as the likes of Nagababu and Vishnu Manchu backed him openly. Other notable and influential voters in the association like Uttej and Sivajiraja also supported the comedy-hero. But things are not as smooth as it could be as we hear that former heroine and present character artist Jayasudha is also eyeing the same chair and wants to file her nomination tomorrow. 

Reports are coming out that Murali Mohan is also supporting her candidature and there will be an election this time to decide the winner. For years, MAA is selecting and electing their president without any voting in effect. Seems like history is gonna change with Jayasudha's surprise entry for the fight on RP.
