Chinnadana Nee Kosam Review - Story
Nithin (Nithiin) a happy go lucky guy meets with Multi-talented Nandu (Mishti) accidentally a traffic jam and instantly starts liking her. Their chance meeting at a coffee spot, followed by a visit to Nithiin’s place, puts her in an odd spot. In the meantime, he helps her to start coaching classes at Reddy (Nassar)’s place. Before you know it, both turn to be good friends and Nandu leaves to Europe with Reddy. Nithin doesn’t have any clued of what happened. Why did she leave to Europe with Reddy? Who is Nandu? Will Nithiin forget her? This leads to series of troubles for Nandu.
Chinnadana Nee Kosam Review - Star Performance
Of late, Nithiin has been typecast with roles he has been associated with. Take the case with Ishq, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayinde, HeartAttack… The characters, dialogue delivery are almost similar. In CNK, he goes two steps ahead. He gains some wait and starts imitating Pawan Kalyan in every scene. The same cannot be said of Mishti. She is a fine actor but somewhere she has failed gel into Nandu’s character. Her body language is amazing though. Senior Naresh, Rohini and Sithara offer good support, while Nassa ris getting louder by the day, has a very minimal scope. Thagubothu Ramesh, Ali and Madhu failed to entertain and has nothing much to do.
Chinnadana Nee Kosam Review - Techinical Team
The film starts up well and the scenes are so easily enjoyable. The film has subtle reference to the Pawan Kalyan’s earlier films (Esp. Tholiprema, Attarintiki Daredi), Prabhas’s Darling..etc. Chinnadaana Neekosam drags along aimlessly, the film has a wafer thin plot which director tries to ignore by inventing some enigmatic characters (Nassar, Ali, Madhu). Nithiin does relieve us at couple of places with his adolescent, but acceptable humor, such relief’s are treasured very few and far inbetween. The climax is half cooked, although it has a good tune to it. But what were the writers thinking about the film still remains a wonder. This film also goes boring because it’s very ill directed. The drama is never build, and still the film heavily concentrates on it. At 139.50 minutes long, CNK is long by at least 20 minutes.

Music is just about average. With half a dozen songs in this film, it was easy for anyone to think of chopping atleast two songs. Title track Chinnadaana Neekosam and Dil Dil Dil and to an extent “Bol Baby” are pleasant enough for ears. The Background score is fine. The dialogues, particularly delivered by Nithiin are good in parts, “Manadaka vachentha varaku react avvakapovadam valle e desam ela thayaru ayyindi”, “Manasulo Pichi Prema Untene Ela Vasthundi”. Camerawork is good for sure. Especially songs are brilliantly picturized by the cinematographer. Choreography in this film fine, “Chinnadaana Neekosam” track was nicely choreographed. Editing of this film is okay. Editor could have cut short gay club, Ali chase sequence, forced songs in the second half. The production values of Nithiin home production house are grand.
Chinnadana Nee Kosam Review - Analysis
CNK shows a lot of promise as a good comedy film early on, but totters in between. Every lead character is nicely introduced, but soon disappears, only to appear briefly again. To my mind, that is a huge waste, having actors like Nassar, Senior Naresh, Rohini and Ali and not making optimum use of their presence. To sum things up, Chinnadaana Neekosam takes too long to tell a story, which is bound with countless loose ends. Even usually dependable Nithiin puts our hopes on toss with his erroneous acting especially post-intermission disappointing end to these year..
