Ungli had an average opening on its first
day at the Box Office in India. The film collected 3.60
crores on its
opening day. The collections could have been better, considering that the film
had good star values and the promos very quite a hit among the masses.

Ungli took a slow start in the morning, but picked up
in the evening and late night shows in the urban centres.
The film had
decent responses in multiplexes as expected. The multiplexes could have shown a
better performance but considering that it was a normal week day, the footfalls
were less and may pick up over the weekend.
Ungli has received positive reviews from critics and
if it enjoys a good word of mouth, the film will have a decent first weekend
collection.
