Naga Chaitanya pinned many hopes on 'Autonagar Surya' and despite good songs
the movie as such couldn't flick well at the box office and overall it stood as
a failed venture. And this is third attempt to woo masses by Naga Chaitanya after he failed with 'Josh' and 'Bezawada.'
But surprisingly 'Autonagar Surya' satellite rights are sold for a huge price. Gemini TV has bagged the rights for whopping Rs 4.6 crore. This is confirmed by none other than the film's director Deva Katta. One wonders how the movie could fetch such a record rate even though it was rejected at box office.
The film got stuck badly from almost two years due to lack of finances and other issues.Unfortunately, the movie has garnered a remark of some excessive violence in the second half and it became dud despite of several modifications.
Learning with the expierence Chaitu is now accepting only those roles he suits for and cancelled few films even after opening because he was unsatisfied with script work and respective directors style of working. We wish Naga Chaitanya all the very best for future films!
