Dil Toh
Pagal Hai was one
memorable film that elucidated the idea of soul mates. Probably one of the best
works of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, yesterday while speaking about
dance films at an event King Khan went into a nostalgic zone talking about the
film. He began on a fun note saying, “I taught Madhuri and Karisma how to dance
(laughs).”
Khan
continued with, “No, actually when I have to dance on screen, I ask my actress
to stand ahead of me and I follow them. From my career, I think Dola was a high
point. Madhuri and Aishwarya did a fantastic job. It is actually shameful of me
to say that I taught Madhuri how to dance. There is a scene in Dil
Toh Pagal Haiwhere I had to scold Madhuri for dancing and she kept
laughing about it and said how can you teach me how to dance.”
Obviously,
in an era where remakes are replete, can there be remake of the film. SRK
shushed everyone with, “A remake of Dil Toh Pagal Hai is out of question. That film can’t be
made again.”
Currently
SRK is busy with the promotion of Happy
New Year and the actor
has announced extensive world tour for the promotion of the dance centric film.
Though the dance might not be Madhuri level of brilliant, Director Farah Khan will
ensure that the movie is brilliant.
