Parineeti Chopra is known as one of the most
effervescent actors from the younger lot, but her hero is none other than the
Nawabi dude, Saif Ali Khan. The actress was recently roped
in for a project with Illuminati Films that was to mark the directorial debut
of Saif’s business partner Dinesh Vijan. The movie was going to be a romantic
drama, where Saif was paired opposite Parineeti.
However, if
reports of a leading daily are to believed, the film has been put on hold due
to some internal reasons of the production house. Saif, who has a choc-a-bloc
schedule, is currently filming Kabir Khan’sPhantom with Katrina Kaif after
which he will quickly begin work on Reema Kagti’s next with Kangana Ranaut.
The actor
hasn’t tasted success in a while, rather the actor has received scathing
criticism for his performance in Sajid Khan’s Humshakals.
Saif told a
leading daily that he already has a release this year in a film that stars Ileana
D’Cruz in lead role and is being prepped for a December release. Also Saif has
in his kitty a project that will be helmed by Homi Adjania. So for now
Parineeti will have to wait a while before her film with Saif works out.
