Entertainment which
started off on good note continued to remain steady over its first week. The
film collected 56.50 crores in its first week, which is extremely
good for this comedy drama. Releasing two weeks after Kick, the film had a good chance to perform well in
the domestic circuit.
The comedy
drama has now become the 10th Highest Grosser of 2014. With this, the film has
now evicted Varun Dhawan’s Main Tera Hero, which stood at the tenth position with
a lifetime collection of 55 crores. TheAkshay Kumar starrer
has benefited a lot from positive word of mouth. Now that the film will enter
its second week, it may slow down considering the new release Singham Returns will be an audience puller.
