Complaint against Pawan Kalyan for fake note

Hyderabad: A businessman approached the LB Nagar police with a complaint against Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan for publishing fake Rs 50 notes with his photograph on it.
The complainant, B. Raju, alleged that the currency notes are being circulated on social networking sites, with Pawan Kalyan’s photo replacing Mahatma Gandhi’s image on the notes.
Though the complainant produced a photograph of the note being circulated online, the police is yet to ascertain if Pawan Kalyan has any role in it. The police suspects it is the handiwork of some crazy fan of the actor.
“We are conducting an inquiry. A note written on it says that had Pawan Kalyan been politically active 50 years ago, his photo would have been on Indian currency instead of Gandhiji’s,” said a police officer from LB Nagar police station. The police is  yet to book a case.
