Kick witnessed a minimal 5% approx growth
on Day 2. The movie that made a business of 26 crores on Day 1 (1st Friday), picked up
slightly and managed to collect a moolah of 27.10 crores on 1st Saturday at the Domestic Box
Office.
Crossing the
50 crores mark in 2 Days, this Salman Khan starrer now stands at a nett India
total of 53.10 crores at the Box Office. The film did well
in Rajasthan, East Punjab and Central India and raked in maximum collections
from Mumbai and Delhi. Though the growth was expected to be a phenomenal et al,
the film did not grow as rapidly as expected given the lack of festive season.
Kick has surpassed the collections set by Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger by the end of
its Day 2 run (47.50 crores),
moreover, it fared much better than his last few underwhelming releases like Dabangg
2 and Jai Ho.
Early trends
suggest, a growth for the film today which means that though the film will miss Dhoom 3‘s record of
fastest 100 crore record, the benefit of Eid will help the film to put up a
powerful opening weekend cumulative at the domestic box office.
