when
a vibrant, hopelessly romantic physiotherapist meets a handsome young Rajput
prince who is exactly opposite of her – and is engaged to someone else. It is a
battle of values between two individually crazy families – one that encourages
discipline and self-restraint versus the other, which is all for spontaneity
and open- mindedness.
The trailer features spunky – chulbuli Sonam
Kapoor and an introvert Fawad
Khan and their respective families, with unique personalities.

Set in Rajasthan, Khoobsurat is the story of Dr. Mili Chakravarty (Sonam) – a middle class physiotherapist from Delhi who has grown up with great faith in the fairy tales that her equally enthusiastic mother has drilled into her. Mili is sent to Rajasthan to treat the paraplegic Shekhar Rathore, Raja of Sambalgarh.
Over the course of her stay in the mahal, Mili charms the Rathore
family, especially young Yuvraj Singh Rathore (Fawad Khan) – with her free
spirit and funny antics. She also manages to stir up trouble as she gradually
starts to convince the others that it is okay to be yourself and speak your
mind, and even break the rules sometimes.
Khoobsurat looks at universal themes: being able to love and respect yourself; and having to fight for the things you really want.
