Rudramadevi Prefers A Risky Date

 From December 2014 to Sankranthi 2015, director Gunasekhar's latest venture 'Rudramdevi 3D' has missed many dates. However, his team has recently given clarity that the high budgeted historical flick will be hitting cinemas in the last week of March. With the kind of budgets involved and hardwork that went through into the making of this movie, one feels that this is a risky date.

 'Rudramadevi' took huge research, time and budgets for erecting up grand sets that costed a bomb, to cast sensational stars like Anushka, Rana and Allu Arjun, and to combine live action elements with complex visual effects. All these efforts will pay off only when the film is released in right season and mints money from day one irrespective of the talk it generates. Though the presence of Allu Arjun for a while and Anushka's star power will draw crowds, timing of the release always matters if a film has to garner big figures.

 March month is always a month of star of many exams and some students will continue attending test till April 2nd week. Even though Rudrama gets rave reviews, thumping openings may not be possible due to non-availability of students. Though stars like Pawan Kalyan managed to get huge head counts even in poor season, for Rudramadevi this will be a risky date for sure.
