Prabhu Deva to remake Govindudu Andarivadele?

Could Ram Charan-starrer Govindudu Andarivadele work if it's remade in Hindi? That's the question choreographer- turned-filmmaker Prabhudheva is grappling with ever since he watched the special screening of the film hosted for him.

It looks like Prabhudheva liked what he saw. "Post the debacle of Action Jackson, Prabhudheva was looking out for a different kind of story and director Krishna Vamsi's family saga impressed him a lot," says an associate of Prabhu. If Prabhudheva has his way, Prakash Raj could be part of the Hindi version as well, informs the source, adding, "Prabhudheva was in awe of Prakash Raj's performance and could repeat him in the Hindi remake too.

Moreover, Prabhudheva counts Prakash Raj among one of his closest friends." Bandla Ganesh, who is a friend of Prabhudheva, admits that the director watched the film, but was reluctant to reveal anything more. "It's true that I arranged a screening for Prabhudheva. He is a good friend of mine and he thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but I can't say anything more," says Ganesh.

Well, Prabhudheva has tasted a lot of success with Hindi remakes of Tollywood hits like Wanted (Pokiri) and Rowdy Rathore (Vikramarkudu), so it wouldn't come as a surprise if he decides to remake Ram Charan's last release Govindudu Andarivadele.
