2014 turned out to be the most relaxed one in case of villians as
majority of the top rated villains like Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj moved into
family related roles. Yesteryear hero, Jagapathi Babu turned into a villain
this year and Sai Kumar too showed strong negative shades this year. Rao
Ramesh, who enthralled audience with father and uncle roles came up with
negative shades in two flicks. Check out the story on these top three villains
of Tollywood in 2014.
Jagapathi Babu – Legend:
Jagapathi Babu is one of the most interesting actors in Tollywood.
He has good following in family audience as his flicks in the past were all
family related ones. He is stated to have huge female fan following in South
India. With the film “Legend”, Jagapathi Babu added a new feather to his hat.
He came up with the most powerful villain role opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Dialogues and action turned out to be the highlight between these two
characters in the flick.
Sai Kumar – Yevadu:
Sai Kumar, is known for his thundering tone. He lends voice to
majority of the heroes when it comes to powerful stories. This time, he used
his tone in the most frightening way for the villain character in Ram Charan
Teja’s “Yevadu”. This flick has got good scenes between Sai Kumar and Ram
Charan and the antagonist showed his mark to be the best villain opposite a
powerful hero.
Rao Ramesh – Geethanjali:
Rao Ramesh is known
for his sarcastic roles. “SVSC” gave the best opportunity to Rao Ramesh to show
his sarcastic shades on the silver screen. This year, he came up with two
flicks “Geethanjali” and “Karthikeya”. He acted in negative shaded roles in
these flicks and his character attracted audience to the core. As both these
ventures are youthful thrillers, Rao Ramesh got good name and fame as a
villain, this year.
