Creative
Director Krishna Vamsi is a high on the success of his recent release,
Govindhudu Andari Vaadele. The success comes as a huge relief for the maverick
director as he is bogged down in bitter flops for several years. Krishna Vamsi
has decided to take a break for himself before deciding up on his next project.
And during this break he happened to see few shots of Gunasekhar's Rudramma
Devi.
It is said that KV saw few scenes and songs of the film in the special
show of the film arranged by Gunasekhar himself and is totally awestruck with
the film. It is said that he personally called every one of the movie team and
spoke at length of their contribution and the film as a whole. Usually Krishna
Vamsi is a very rigid man and does not get impressed very easily. In such case
Guna has pulled off a near impossible thing.
Gunasekhar has finished the
shooting of his dream project, Rudramma Devi and is currently busy overseeeing
the post production works of the film. Guna is planning to release the film for
Sankranthi 2015. The film will join the race of Gopala Gopala and NTR-Puri film
which are also releasing for Sankranthi. The movie is said to be India's
historical stereoscopic 3D film in which Anushka will play the title role while
Rana will play the role of Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, the prince of
Nidavardhyapuram (Present Nidadavole).
Guna will himself produce the movie and
had roped in some top class technicians on to the project. Maestro Ilayaraja is
the music composer.
