Happy
New Year fared decently on its third Saturday. The film collected 1.80 crores on Saturday. It now stands with a
total collection of 196.30 crores at the domestic box office. The film
is now on the brink of making it to the 200 crore club and is expected to do so
by its fourth Monday.

In its third
week, the film is still running at around 800-900 screens. Considering that the
film is a family entertainer, it has been getting good responses at the
multiplexes. In spite of competition this week from the new release The
Shaukeens, this film has remained steady and continued to pull audiences over
the third weekend.
