Happy Ending had
an extremely disappointing first week at the Domestic Box Office. The film
collected 1.25 crores on its first Thursday. It now stands
with a total of 20.85
crores at
the domestic box office.
The first
week collections of the film are highly disappointing considering the film had
gathered positive reviews.
A 20 crore
business for the first week is too low for a film starring the Saif Ali Khan
and Govinda, who have good star values. The film failed to show any growth in
urban centers as even multiplexes remained low.
The film is
expected to fold soon and may not even reach 25 crore plus lifetime total.
