Mystery shrouds Salman Khan’s
characters in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. While we have seen a
dhoti-clad Salman on the sets of the film, there is strong buzz that the actor
plays a boxer in the film.
Rumours had it that the ‘Dabangg’ Khan will play two different characters, one the sweet and soft spoken 'Prem', and the other the temperamental boxer 'Ratan'. But it’s said to be not true; the actor is not playing a boxer in the film. He’ll be seen boxing in just one scene.
Salman Khan is reprising his calm and debonair 'Prem' avatar for the film, but his dual character is not called Ratan. Salman’s two characters are apparently called Prem and Vijay -- where Prem will be the calm and composed brother and Vijay will be a lot more aggressive, reports a tabloid.
Recently, Sonam Kapoor too joined the cast and crew in Karjat. The actress has shot for a few scenes with Salman Khan. Sonam, who plays the lead opposite Salman, has previously worked with the actor in her debut Saawariya (2007). After that the two actors never got reunited on the big screen.
Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been roped in to play the villain in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. 'Bigg Boss 7’ contestant Armaan Kohli also plays a pivotal role in the film.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is going to be a typical Barjatya-affair with family ties and relationships at the core of the story. It is set to release Diwali 2015.
