Kick Registers 4th Highest Opening Day At The Box Office

Salman Khan’s Eid release Kick has done a fantastic job at the Domestic Box Office on Day 1. Despite releasing on a working day and considering the Ramadan period, the movie made a business of over 26 crores yesterday, thus registering a record of 4th Highest Opening Day ever.
Last year’s Christmas release – Dhoom 3, starring Aamir Khan, holds the record of Highest Opening Day collections of 36 crores, followed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Eid Release Chennai Expresswhich collected 33.10 crores (being a Holiday release) and Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger (being a Holiday release) collected 32.92 croreson its opening day.

The numbers of Kick are undoubtedly great, however, it is expected to pick up on Day 2 and Day 3 even more considering a usual upward trend at the Box Office for any film. With the hike in ticket prices at multiplexes all over India, Kick is expected to make some shattering records in its opening weekend.
