Ek Villain which
has already crossed the 100 crore mark in 14 days is the 30th entrant in the
coveted club. The film collected 1.74 crores on its second Thursday and now stands
with a total collection of 101.34 crores at the domestic box office. Being
year’s 4th entrant in the 100 crore club, the film made a profit of66.34 crores, thus taking its Return on Investment percentage to
approx 190%.
The Mohit Suri film
has performed excellently so far and is the 4th highest grosser of 2014. Ek Villain after being
lauded for its brilliant storyline and stellar performances wooed the audiences
enough to give it an extraordinary run at the box office. The film starring
Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles, had a good two week run
and may continue to remain steady over the coming weekend.
If the film continues to add more
moolah over the coming weekend, it may surpass the lifetime collections of2 States which
is the Third highest grosser of 2014.
